Our Annual Meeting & Gala Celebration
combines art, business, and fun as we gather our membership with the general public to report on our successes and set the stage for the coming year. You’ll get to see first-hand our amazing past year’s accomplishments, help fund our vital upcoming programs, and celebrate over 50 years of arts advocacy.

at one of Seattle’s premier event spaces: The Ruins! All funds raised will bolster our mission to provide support and recognition to artists throughout Seattle and across the state. Best of all, everyone is invited! Come experience the broad range of diversity supported by Allied Arts Foundation with students from multiple high schools, artists from all walks of life, and arts organizations like Malikah Festival, Nrityalaya School of Dance, and Alchemy Tap Project.
Your participation will make a HUGE difference
in the lives of dozens of artists and arts organizations by providing vital support to keep our grants, awards, and scholarships fully funded in the coming year. We’ll have an art auction, special guests, and performances by students of Key to Change: a music program training and empowering underserved youth in south King County.
At this year’s event, you’ll experience:
High School Stars: Meet representatives of the 42 winners of the 2019 Robert J. Block Awards for Artistic Excellence — the finest artists in Seattle’s public high schools — and learn what an impact Allied Arts Foundation is having on our city’s up-and-coming talent.
Artist Grant Winners: Talk with recipients of our 2019 Artist Grant Awards, sponsored by Piroshky Piroshky. Each have received $5,000 to support their work in sculpture and 3D arts. See first-hand how important arts funding is for our region’s culture!
Music Scholarship Students: Listen to exquisite violin and viola performances from recipients of the Allied Arts Foundation Music Scholarships for Key to Change Students and witness how our funding of this important musical and life training program is honing talent and creating undreamed-of opportunities for youth in south King County!
Fiscally Sponsored Artists: Meet some key Sponsored Artists who are using Allied Arts Foundation’s important 501(c)(3) fiscal umbrella to raise funds for their important artworks and art programs that are enriching our entire region!
Poetry Award Updates: Learn about the new multi-state Allied Arts Foundation Poetry Award as part of the Evergreen Award Tour competition through our partner Floating Bridge Press!
Feeling Great!: We’ll give you the chance to be a WINNER and support all these programs through our art auction and raffle!

Allied Arts Foundation is seeking donations of artwork from private collectors for our Silent Auction. Hanging 2D or portable sculptural works are sought. Help us raise funds for the arts!
